The forecast for the Saints’ practices may not include an overcast and rain, but there will be lightning.
Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate first reported the Saints expect to hold joint practices with the Los Angeles Chargers prior to their preseason game on August 20. In addition to the Chargers, the Saints will also have joint practices with the Houston Texans prior to their game on August 26, the first home game of the Saints’ season.
During the 2016 season, the Saints and the Chargers faced off in an instant classic which saw the Saints make an astonishing comeback in the final five mintues of regulation.
