COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Drew Brees and Philip Rivers were teammates with the Chargers from 2004-05.
Since then, the two quarterbacks have shared the field at multiple Pro Bowls and seen each other at their sons' flag football games in the San Diego area the past couple years.
But, on Thursday, when the New Orleans Saints visited the Chargers for joint practices at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex, it was the first time since 2005 that Brees and Rivers had a legitimate practice session together.
During the 11 years since, Brees and Rivers have gone on to have Hall of Fame-caliber career.
