The NFC Championship Game, forever to go down in history as the No-Call game, was two weeks ago today. It took NFL commissioner Roger Goodell ten days after that to make a statement publicly. Saints quarterback Drew Brees and other players aren’t letting that all too typical of Goodell lapse in leadership go un-trolled.
Brees appeared on the Dan Patrick Show on Friday and gave Roger Goodell another good rip or two. The Saints, from Sean Payton to Brees and Cameron Jordan have been firing off at Goodell over the past two weeks like it’s open season on people who choose to ignore major issues and let them fester in the glare of the media spotlight for ten days leaving a nation of football fans to wonder if he even cared.
