Former New Orleans Saints defensive back Delvin Breaux returned to the Canadian Football League after playing for his hometown team, but he’s still a passionate supporter. Breaux shouted out his former teammates by announcing his Saints gameday attire on social media: a Michael Thomas jersey.
Breaux paid tribute to the Saints’ All-Pro wide receiver after going back and forth with fans, debating which jersey he should wear. Breaux quickly became a fan-favorite in New Orleans, thanks as much to his impressive play on the field as his unique backstory. But a series of ugly injuries during his Saints career ended with turnover on the medical staff, and Breaux returned to his old stomping grounds in the CFL – where he was recognized as an All-Star.
