Former New Orleans Saints guard Carl Nicks quietly walked alone, slowly moving among the numerous exhibits at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum.
Nicks, who was earlier introduced Tuesday afternoon along with Jonathan Vilma at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as the newest players selected to the team's Hall of Fame, made a final stop at the Saints' Super Bowl exhibit.
A warm smile formed on Nicks face as he soaked in the memories of the 2009 season, and then reflected on his journey to team immortality.
"I've never been in here," Nicks said. "Seeing all this just reminds me of when we were there and I was a 23-year-old kid winning the Super Bowl.
