Tyreke Evans experiences pain, still may play for New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday

On Monday afternoon the New Orleans Pelicans got some good news about injured point guard Tyreke Evans. According to multiple reports, and even Evans himself, the player who is arguably the second most important on the roster behind Anthony Davis was set to return from knee surgery as soon as Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns.

According to Alvin Gentry, the big parts of the decision on Evans playing Wednesday were practice on Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning’s shootaround in Phoenix. As he told John Reid of NOLA.com:

”There’s a chance,” Alvin Gentry said.
