A few days ago we first learned of the bombshell that Kyrie Irving is seeking a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Today, Sam Amico printed the New Orleans Pelicans have inquired about trading for the point guard from the 2016 NBA Championship team.
Numerous teams are expected to call the Cavaliers now that the news is out there about Irving. According to Amico Hoops sources, Phoenix, Minnesota, Denver and New Orleans have already plotted their calls and offers.
Irving is a four-time All-Star, the 2012 Rookie of the Year and widely considered to be one of the most potent offensive forces in the game.
