No. 10 NM State Drops Close Decision to No. 9 Fresno State

WACO, Texas – The 10th-ranked New Mexico State equestrian team captured three points to win equitation over fences, but the squad ultimately dropped a 7-6 decision to No. 9 Fresno State on Friday in the first round of the Willis Invitational.

"I'm proud of how we fought today," said head coach Robin Morris-Walters. "The team worked hard and is excited to compete again tomorrow. We'll take what we learned from today and use it to get better moving forward."

Erica Roskinski scored a 79, Karianna Knezevich racked up an 83 and Madison Brayman had a 75 to each earn a point in equitation over fences.
