NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic Team and Individual awards for the 2018-19 NCAA Division I Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons on Monday. The New Mexico State women's track and field squad earned the team honor while five Aggies brought home individual accolades.
Crissey Amberg, Camira Haughton, Taniya Mitchell, Yemisi Oroyinyin and Hannah Smith collected individual honors following stellar seasons in 2019. Amberg, Haughton, Mitchell and Smith competed at the NCAA West Preliminary last season while Oroyinyin's record breaking mark in the weight throw during the indoor season helped the thrower qualify for the award.
