LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State head men's basketball coach Chris Jans announced the addition of Shunn Buchanan for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Monday.
"Shunn is a complete point guard," said Jans. "He makes plays for his teammates while quarterbacking the team and scores the ball when needed. Shunn's ability to get into the paint with his ball skills, quickness and determination is a valuable asset. He is a wonderful kid with three years of eligibility remaining and a very bright future."
The versatile 6-0 guard comes to Las Cruces from Northeast Mississippi Community College where he played alongside his brother, Leroy.
