MIDLAND, Texas – The New Mexico State baseball team traveled to Midland, Texas for a midweek clash with No. 4 Texas Tech at Security Bank Ballpark on Tuesday. The Aggies went up early and carried a tie ballgame into the ninth before a walk off home run from the Red Raiders saw the Crimson & White fall, 2-1.
NM State (16-13) started in the midweek contest against Ryan Sublette on the mound for Texas Tech (24-6). Perea held the Red Raiders hitless and had five strikeouts through the first three innings before the Aggies jumped on the board.
