NM State Men’s Golf Add Firepower for the 2017-18 Season

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team is heading to the WAC Championship, April 28-30. However, the coaches are still hard at work on the recruiting trail. The team just recently signed an incoming freshman for the 2017-18 season, Taylor Stote, out of Taunton, England.

Prior to NM State: Led Kings College to the 2017 ISGA Schools National Finals… Competed for the England Boys International U-16 and U-18 teams… Placed in the top-10 at the 2016 South England Boys Open Championship… Completed the 2016 SW Counties Boys Championship in second… Took sixth place at the 2016 Irish Boys Amateur Championship… Guided the Somerset County U-18 team to a first place finish in the 2015 Channel League Finals… Placed 1st at the English Spring U-16 Boys Open in 2015… Finished 1st at the 2015 SW Boys Amateur Championship… Scored in the top-10 at the 2015 Italian International U-16 Open… Joint Men's Course Record Holder at Enmore Park Golf Club with a round total of 64 (-7)… Was a club champion in 2015 and 2016… captured the junior club championship four years in a row, 2013-16
