LAS CRUCES, N.M. – With a December 26th game in Detroit, Michigan, the New Mexico State Athletics Department understands travel to the Quick Lane Bowl will be challenging for many Aggie fans. On Tuesday, the department announced an initiative that allows fans to donate tickets to Detroit-based youth groups who have the ability to utilize tickets and become adopted Aggie fans.
Quite simply, the Aggies need your help. NM State Athletics will receive $150,000 to participate in the Quick Lane Bowl this season. For perspective, the team plane alone to travel to the bowl site is close to $400,000.
