LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State football program locked in a home-and-home series with Utah State in 2018 and 2021. The announcement now puts NM State at nine games for the 2018 season.
When the deal was finalized NM State Athletics Director Mario Moccia said, "I'd like to thank John Hartwell (Utah State Athletics Director) for agreeing to this series. This game will be of interest to our fans as we square off against a regional opponent from the old Western Athletic Conference. "
Game one between the adversaries has NM State traveling to Logan, Utah, for a match up on Sept.
