EDINBURG, Texas – The Aggies went to work for the second time in three days as they battled with WAC foe UTRGV in South Texas. After opening conference play with back-to-back wins last week, NM State dropped its second straight match as the Vaqueros defeated the Aggies 6-1.
- Despite a victory at the No. 2 position from the tandem of Bella Nguyen and Miranda Bishard, NM State dropped its matches at No. 1 and No. 3 to give the Vaqueros the doubles point. Nguyen and Bishard's 6-4 win over UTRGV's Isabelle Bahr and Marjorie Souza marked their eighth win on the season.
