LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Kristen Cline was named Western Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Month, for September. The senior led the defending WAC Champion Aggies through their first two events with a pair of top-15 placings.
At the Red Raider Invitational, she shot 73-72-75—220 (+4), which put her in a tie for sixth among the 75 golfers. This score helped lead NM State to its first tournament title of the season. That tournament was followed up by the Golfweek Conference Challenge which saw Cline fire 73-72-74—219 (+3). The senior tied for 14th out of 90 golfers and the Aggies took seventh place in the tournament.
