VAIL, Colo. – After entering Tuesday in fourth place, NM State women's golf ascended into third place in Vail, firing a 297 as a team. NM State (592; +16) trails just High Point (590; +14) and No. 9 Pepperdine (573; -3) as focus shifts to the final round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.
Alison Gastelum has been red-hot throughout the Red Sky Classic and will enter the final day in a tie for first place. For the second straight day, Gastelum shot under par, finishing with a 70 (-2) on Tuesday.
