Aggies Slotted in Second After Day Two of WAC Championships

PHARR, Texas – Getting out of the blocks quickly is essential to a strong race. This is the same mentality that the Aggies have taken toward the beginning of the WAC Championships. Through two days of events at the Pharr Natatorium, NM State is in second place with a total of 231 points.

Their first two days were highlighted by five podium finishes, including earning silver in a pair of races on Thursday evening. In the first event of the week, the Aggies raced their way to a bronze finish as Lindsay Puhalski, Naomi Slee, Dreamer Kowatch and Katie Rink teamed up to secure a third-place finish in the 800 free relay.
