PHOENIX, Ariz. - For the first time since 2014, the New Mexico State women's soccer team is headed to the WAC Tournament Semifinals after a dominating 3-0 win over UTRGV Friday afternoon at GCU Stadium in Phoenix, Ariz.
In what Head Coach Rob Baarts called "The best performance of my tenure at New Mexico State," the Aggies dominated the game from start to finish. The Aggies got a good look from Xitlaly Hernandez early on, but it was saved. The Phoenix native got her redemption in the 28th minute on a shot just inside the box that found the back of the net.
