EL PASO, TEXAS - The New Mexico State track and field team competed at the UTEP Springtime meet on Saturday. Two Aggies finished atop the podium as Kayli Farmer and Akuadasuo Ezenyilimba took first place in their respective events.

"We had an assortment of good performances as several people performed in different events," interim co-head coach Larry Carmichael said. "Overall, it was a good outing for us. We're on our way to some better things."

Farmer won the javelin as the junior threw 44.06 meters (144-7), a new personal record, to claim the first place.
