SAN MARCOS, Texas – The New Mexico State track and field team finished competition in the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Texas State, on Saturday. The meet featured over 1,500 collegiate athletes as well as professionals and Olympic competitors.
"This was a very tough meet, with the best competition we have seen this season," said assistant coach Larry Carmichael. "Overall, we were very pleased with several of our athletes' performances in several different events. This was a good test to see where we were as a team, and we were pleased with the performances we got this weekend.
