FRESNO, Calif. -- Deshon Taylor scored 22 points, including nine at the free-throw line, leading five into double figures as Fresno State rallied past New Mexico 89-80 Saturday night.

Fresno State (13-6, 3-3 Mountain West) made up a five-point gap when a Jahmel Taylor drive with just under eight minutes left gave the Bulldogs a 68-66 lead. Ray Bowles Jr. and Deshon Taylor made five of six free throws, adding to the lead, before Deshon Taylor hit a dagger of a 3-pointer to put Fresno State up 10 right after a New Mexico timeout.
