New Mexico rallies from 15-point hole, beats Boise St. 80-78

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Elijah Brown scored 13 points in a game-ending 19-2 run to give New Mexico a wild, 80-78 come-from-behind victory Wednesday over Boise State.

Brown finished with 26 points, scoring 17 over the final 11 minutes for the Lobos (16-10, 9-4 Mountain West).

It was enough to offset Anthony Drmic's season-high 30 points off the bench for the Broncos (17-10, 8-6). His 3-pointer just before the final buzzer drew iron and bounced away.

In one stretch toward the end of the first half, the two teams went on a precision long-range binge, with Boise State scoring from behind the arc on 6-of-7 possessions -- five from Drmic -- while the Lobos went 5 for 5.
