Lobos look to get back on track

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The University of New Mexico women's soccer team looks to get back on track on the road this week as the Lobos travel to take on San Jose State on Friday and Fresno State on Sunday.

The Lobos (4-4-2 overall, 0-2-0 Mountain West) had their six-match unbeaten streak snapped Friday in a 1-0 loss to Colorado College at home in their Mountain West opener. The Tigers scored 20 seconds into the match and UNM never found the equalizer.

UNM followed it up with a strong effort against Air Force on Sunday, but after Claire Lynch tied the game in the 72nd minute on a penalty kick - the Falcons scored on a free kick from 40 yards out 10 minutes later to claim the 2-1 victory and drop the Lobos to 0-2-0 in conference play.
