New Mexico Lobos Chris Wehan and Jason Beaulieu swept Conference USA’s offensive and defensive player of the week awards, following UNM’s road wins over Cal State Northride and Loyola Marymount.
Wehan recorded the game-winning goal in both matches and has scored six goals this season.
Beaulieu earned his first shutout of the season Friday by making three saves, all in the first half, against the Matadors. He was more active Sunday against the Lions as he made five stops, including one in the final seconds.
UNM hosts Missouri State Friday night at 7, and on Sunday the Lobos will face American at 6 p.
