Most importantly, he had a hat trick. Zajac jammed in a puck early in the game for the game’s first goal. Zajac rifled in a puck from the slot thanks to a tip by Kyle Palmieri for a power play goal. And in the third period when the Devils were down one, it seemed grim that the Devils would get one.
