John Quenneville kept his hot streak going, but it wasn’t enough for the Brandon Wheat Kings to stay on a roll against the Red Deer Rebels.
Quenneville scored his league-leading 11th goal of the playoffs for Brandon, which fell, 6-2, in Game 3 of their WHL Eastern Conference Final against Red Deer on Tuesday.
The Wheat Kings hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven which continues Wednesday in Red Deer. The series returns to Brandon for Game 5 on Friday.
Quenneville, who’s riding a three-game goal streak, has four goals versus the Brent Sutter-led Rebels in the series.
