NEWARK -- Prior to being taken by the Devils with the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, Nico Hischier had never been to New Jersey or the New York City area. After three days with the Devils, Hischier has seen about all there is to see. The Switzerland native is preparing for his second year playing in North America after playing with the Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL last season, and while it is still an adjustment, Hischier is excited for what lies ahead.
