Sure he had some individual success along the way, including four Vezina Trophies, an NHL-record 691 wins, 124 career shutouts and being voted into the NHL All-Star Game nine different times, but Martin Brodeur will forever be remembered as the backbone of the New Jersey Devils during the era that garnished them respect and recognition around the National Hockey League.
