Newark, NJ – The New Jersey Devils today signed two prospects, forwards Ryan Kujawinski and Blake Pietila, to entry-level contracts. The announcement was made by Devils’ General Manager Ray Shero. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.
Kujawinski, 20, notched 21 goals and 15 assists for 36 points in 34 games with North Bay (OHL) following a January 5 trade from Kingston. The 6-2, 200-lb. forward finished tied for third on the Battalion with six goals, including a league-leading two overtime game-winners, while adding three assists in 15 playoff contests.
