Devils, fans salute Brodeur

Martin Brodeur, the winningest goalie in NHL history, had his No. 30 retired by the New Jersey Devils in an emotional ceremony at Prudential Center on Tuesday.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, former Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello, and teammates Ken Daneyko and Patrik Elias spoke of Brodeur in the ceremony hosted by NBC's Mike Emrick.

"Thank you for all the memories," Brodeur said to the fans. "Thank you for all the 'Marty's better!' chants."

On Monday, the Devils unveiled a statue of Brodeur, who retired after the 2014-15 season with 691 regular-season wins.
