Mackenzie Blackwood made 33 saves in the Barrie Colts' 4-1 loss to the Niagara IceDogs in Game 2 of their OHL Eastern Conference final on Saturday.
Blackwood has stopped 72 of 79 shots through the first two games of the series. The Colts trail 2-0 in the best-of-seven, which shifts to Niagara for Game 3 and 4 on Monday and Wednesday.
The Devils' second-round pick at last year's Draft, Blackwood has six wins in 11 playoff appearances this season with a 2.48 goals-against average, .921 save percentage and one shutout.
He posted five straight wins, including a four-game second-round sweep of North Bay, to help Barrie reach the conference final.
