Toronto 2, Revolution 0 - New England’s Offense Sputters Again

Between Drew Moor’s opener and Sebastian Giovinco’s ender, you could argue the New England Revolution were the better team. The scoreboard however does not care for your eye test.

Toronto FC scored first and left little doubt as they claimed their seventh consecutive home win at BMO Field in a 2-0 victory over the Revs on Friday night.

Moor started things off in the 11th minute when he bundled home a cross to the back post from Tsubasa Endoh. Moor had stayed upfield in the box following a recycled corner kick, and when Endoh was able to get the ball out of his and Je-Vaughn Watson’s feet, it left him open with a free crossing lane the Revs couldn’t close.
