Every professional athlete will tell you that winning, regardless of the circumstances, feels good. They’ll also admit that a full-on goal-fest is just a little bit more satisfying.
On Wednesday, the New England Revolution put up six goals against Sporting KC during a Desert Diamond Cup game. Juan Agudelo and Lee Nguyen grabbed two, while Diego Fagundez and Daigo Kobayashi had solo tallies to round out the final 6-2 scoreline.
How did the Revs feel about the afternoon clash? To them, it was quite enjoyable.
“It was a lot of fun,” Fagundez explained. “You can tell just by watching the game that, not just myself, but everyone was enjoying themselves.
