Recap: Revolution battle back twice to close road trip with 2-2 draw at NYCFC

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The New England Revolution (4-5-5; 17 pts.) played New York City FC (6-5-3; 21 pts.) to a 2-2 draw at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday evening. New England trailed late into the second half before midfielder Xavier Kouassi equalized in the 86th minute with the first goal of his MLS career.

Forward Kei Kamara also tallied for the Revolution in the 24th minute with an impressive headed finish, while New York City FC received goals from midfielders Jack Harrison and Miguel Camargo in the 16th and 64th minutes, respectively.
