The New England Patriots grabbed a 19-17 win over the Carolina Panthers last night, their third win in as many preseason games.
Here are four standouts from the victory:
3. Chris Hogan
Hogan paced the Patriots with 62 receiving yards and a 33-yard touchdown grab on five catches last night. He was on the receiving end of Tom Brady’s beautiful touch throw, finishing the play by reeling in the over-the-shoulder pass and hanging on.
Hogan essentially nailed down a top-three wide receiver role on the depth chart by distancing himself from the pack on Friday night.
