Sister's illness weighs on Patriots DL Dominique Easley

Dominique Easley lines up against 300-pound offensive linemen for a living, but his younger sister is battling a bigger behemoth.

Destinee, 16, is fighting fibromyalgia, a disorder that causes debilitating pain in muscles and soft tissue. It's cause is unknown, but it plagues an estimated 5.8 million Americans.

Watching Destinee suffer for the last four years has been an eye-opening experience for the defensive lineman.

"The way my sister explains it to me, and from what I've seen, she sometimes can't even walk," Easley said. "She can't even get out of her bed sometimes. She can't even go to school, she misses school.
