The New England Patriots are historically one of the best teams in the NFL in the NFL Draft. Almost every year, the Patriots make a great mid to late round draft pick. Their ability to draft and develop young talent is one of the reasons why they have been so successful for the past 15 years.
Despite success in the draft, second round pick Cyrus Jones had a horrible rookie season for the Patriots. As a returner and a cornerback, Jones’ struggles resulted in him playing in just 10 games for the Patriots. One of his major issues was holding onto the ball on returns.
