FOXBORO — There was vindication and a major victory yesterday for the Patriots in the seemingly endless Deflategate saga, but according to Jonathan Kraft, no plans of a further fight.
The Patriots team president said last night on WBZ 98.5-FM that the whole issue is in the rear-view mirror after Judge Richard Berman ruled to vacate Tom Brady’s four-game suspension.
“It is for us,” Kraft said before the preseason finale against the Giants. “It definitely is for us.”
Apparently, that includes the team penalties levied by the league — first- and fourth-round draft picks, plus a $1 million fine.
