The Patriots will visit the Saints for joint practices in West Virginia this summer.
Saints coach Sean Payton announced the news this morning, and such an effort was anticipated due to his close relationship with Bill Belichick. The Pats and Saints will practice at the Saints' camp site in West Virginia before traveling to New Orleans for their Week 2 preseason game Aug. 22.
The Patriots have held two sets of joint practices every year since 2010 with the exception of the lockout-shortened 2011 preseason, including workouts with the Saints in 2010 and 2012.
