FOXBORO — The Patriots are conducting their third of 10 organized team activities Friday at Gillette Stadium, but they’ll open practice to the media for the first time.

This isn’t like training camp, where the team truly molds into form before the season, but enough trends unfold in the spring to catch a glimpse of what the future might hold, even if they’re difficult to see as the players hit the field without jersey numbers.
