Wolf Pack looks to learn on fly in spring camp

After spending nearly 3 hours on the field Monday morning at Wolf Pack Park, the Nevada football team broke its final huddle of it first spring camp practice under coach Jay Norvell by yelling in unison, “Win the Mountain West.”

That quest to accomplish that goal began Monday as Nevada ran through its first of 15 spring practices, which will culminate April 29 with the Silver and Blue Spring Scrimmage at Mackay Stadium.

“It’s fun to be back out on the field,” Norvell said. “We had eight weeks of winter training and it’s great to be back out here and have some football practice.
