Trending up: Nevada basketball moves to sixth in both major polls

It’s difficult to deny a team that’s won its last seven games by an average of more than 20 points.

Mountain West-leading and red-hot Nevada moved up to the No. 6 spot in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll released Monday. The Wolf Pack was eighth in the previous poll.

Nevada totaled 1,228 points from the media panel, edging Michigan (1,217) for the sixth spot.
