The Wolf Pack basketball team beat San Diego State, 83-58, on Saturday night to improve to 21-5 overall and 10-2 in the Mountain West. Here are three takeaways from Nevada’s victory.
1. Drew nearly hits a triple-double
Late in blowouts, you usually see a coach empty his bench. That was true for Eric Musselman, who inserted walk-ons David Cunningham and Elijah Cooks, who both joined the team this week because of a lack of depth (Cooks is a Wolf Pack football player).
