Surprise starter Josh Hall ready for bigger role with Pack

One of the main reasons Josh Hall, a four-star recruit and top-150 prospect nationally, opted to play for Nevada over scores of other scholarship offers was because he felt he could make an impact for the Wolf Pack as a freshman.

But through Nevada’s first seven games this season, Hall had logged only 21 minutes, took three shots and tallied just three points. He played more than four minutes in a game only once and logged two minutes or fewer in five of the first seven contests. But, despite the limited opportunity, Hall trusted the process.

“I just kept a positive attitude,” the 6-foot-6, 190-pound Hall said.
