The top two teams in the Mountain West are a combined 6-0 this season, including a 5-0 mark against FBS foes and 3-0 mark against Power 5 schools (win over Cal, Washington State and Oregon State).
The rest of the MW? Not so good.
The league, in total, is 21-21 in non-conference play but 12 of those wins are against FCS opponents. Subtract SDSU and Boise State and the MW is 4-21 against FBS schools, including 0-14 against the Power 5.
