Notes: Pack's Hawaiians looking forward to homecomng

For every game, each Wolf Pack football player gets two free tickets it can give to friends or family.

Kalei Meyer, a defensive lineman in his third season at Nevada, has never used his tickets before.

That will change Saturday when the Wolf Pack plays at Hawaii, which will serve as a homecoming for both Meyer and fellow Hawaiian Jake Lacaden, who both hail from the island of Oahu

“It will be nice,” Meyer said of the game in Hawaii. “I think this will be the first time I’m actually using my tickets.”

Meyer said he is most looking forward to two things: seeing his family and the spicy ahi poke.
