Notes: Ma to be honored before Nevada-Hawaii game

Former Nevada defensive lineman Marc Ma, who tragically died in a paddleboarding accident this summer, has been with the Wolf Pack in spirit all season as the team has worn a helmet sticker in his honor.

On Friday and Saturday, the Ma family will be with the Wolf Pack in person.

Ma was a native of Honolulu and with Nevada playing at Hawaii this weekend, the team will spend some time with Ma’s parents and family before taking on the Rainbow Warriors on Saturday in Ma’s hometown.

“The Ma family is going to join us for dinner on Friday night at our hotel and they’ll spend some time with us at the team meeting on Friday,” Nevada coach Brian Polian said.
