When Shannon O’Hair got her first car four years ago, she already had the vanity plate picked out.
“GBPAKRS,” it would read, a reference to her favorite sports teams, the Green Bay Packers.
O’Hair was born and raised in Northern Nevada, but her father, Michael, hailed from Wisconsin, and was a cheesehead by birth, which made Shannon a cheesehead by blood. Shannon has been a football fan “since the day she was born,” according to her mother, Janette, and would huddle every Sunday with her dad to watch the Packers game, a father-daughter bonding experience that met no match.
