When he was in elementary school, Jason Kaufusi always looked forward to getting out of school on Friday.
Now, that’s true of almost every kid, but the reason for Kaufusi’s excitement was a little different. The end of the school day Friday marked the beginning of the family’s weekly journey across Utah.
A football family at its root, the Kaufusis would load into a car Friday evening to watch one of their middle sons, Doug, play for Olympus High School in the Salt Lake City suburb of Holladay.
